I have been helping people through psychotherapy for over twenty-five years. I have special interests and experience in women's issues and survivors of trauma, individuals struggling with sexual issues (including alternate sexualities and relationship structures).
My approach to therapy is relationship-oriented, as both my experience and scientific research point to a strong caring, and trusting therapeutic relationship as the primary vehicle for healing. Aside that I draw from psychodynamic, feminist, interpersonal, cognitive, somatic, and trauma theory traditions.
I happily collaborate with other professionals who are helping you, including physicians, psychiatrists, other mental health professionals, and other professionals such as yoga teachers or body workers.
