My training began with a trauma focus from University at Buffalo. I have experience counseling at a rape crisis center, domestic violence shelter, mental health/chemical dependency clinics. I am trained in EMDR an EBP to treat PTSD, trauma, depression and anxiety symptoms. DBT a type of CBT focus to reducing negative thinking and self destructive behaviors.
I understand that we can all become overwhelmed and feel alone with anxiety, depression and uncontrollable emotions. My passion and focus is to provide support, guidance and empowerment toward a higher level of wellness that includes an enlightened level of self-awareness, balance of mental/emotional health and self-esteem.
