As a psychologist with a doctorate in clinical psychology, master's degree in developmental psychology, and certificate in marital and family therapy, I value treating the family as a whole. While I enjoy developing meaningful therapeutic relationships with individuals of all ages, I have an expertise in treating issues of early childhood through the teen years. The earlier we address developmental, emotional, or behavioral concerns, the better the likelihood for positive lifetime outcomes. Young people can quickly grow and adapt, and enjoy coming to talk and play in my office. I appreciate the time with my adult clients, as well.
I am trained and certified in a variety of evidence-based practices for adults, elementary-age children, and very young children, which I blend with strategies in talk and developmentally based play therapy to treat ADHD, anxiety, trauma, defiance, depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delays, and other adult and child mental health issues.
My passion for practicing and training others in clinical psychology has grown through the decades as I have served as clinician, early childhood program developer, school district consultant, parenting educator, clinical supervisor, and predoctoral internship coordinator. With each role, I remain devoted to the individuals and families seeking a kind ear and hope for change.
