Hello! I am so glad you are taking this first step in your journey! Many of my clients find themselves stuck in never ending cycles that they are unable to end by themselves. My role, is helping identify those past struggles and traumas that have impacted your life. By doing so, new patterns can be learned, and new goals achieved. By working together, and integrating various interventions and coping skills, motivation to change begins to grow, and lives change in amazing ways. Some of my greatest joys are watching client's victories as they conquer goal after goal!
I have worked extensively with survivors of abuse, sexual trauma, and trafficking. The very thought of healing can feel abnormal, so I work extensively with clients to help them work through their traumas, and provide extensive resources so that they do not feel alone on their journey into a new life.
Life can be so incredibly unexpected. Trauma, loss, uncertainty, and other struggles can cause us to feel overwhelmed and ready to give up. Negative coping skills lead us into a cycle of shame and guilt that can be difficult to get out of alone. I look forward to coming alongside you in that journey, to learn to break those patterns, and find healing!
