When people are in emotional pain, they usually try to "fix it" themselves. Making the decision to see a therapist often occurs when they have run out of options. I believe that seeking professional help is an action of hope. I can listen to people's pain because of my profound belief that therapy offers a second chance for a more satisfying life. Through the process of therapy, I can offer a more satisfying life to people who are experiencing relationship issues, depression, anxiety, unhappiness with their lives and couples who are having difficulty in their relationships.
I treat individuals, couples, trauma, adult survivors of incest and people who abuse their partners as well as abused partners. When it is appropriate, I work with the couple where domestic abuse is present.
I have been in practice for over 30 years. My office is a warm and attractive environment which adds to a feeling of comfort. I use inter-personal theory, psychodynamic principles, psycho-education, some CBT. I am trained in both individual and couples therapy .
