I currently serve as an LCSW. My ideal client is 16 years old and above presenting for grief/loss, depression, anxiety, family hurt, trauma, and/or assistance through transitional periods. I am a certified grief counseling specialist and have also been trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP), and Illness Management and Recovery (IMR).
I have served as a social worker for over 8 years, working with a variety of ages and within a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, and adult partial care. I have 4 years of experience within medical settings including an oncology program, palliative care, and hospice, helping individuals and families navigate chronic and terminal illness.
Grief.... it is one of those unfortunate things that every single one of us will face as human beings, whether it be loss of a loved one, loss of a job, loss of a home, loss of a pet, etc. It is an honor and privilege to work with an individual as they navigate this difficult journey.
