I am a licensed clinical social worker with 25 years of experience. My clients are mainly adults and young adults struggling with depression, anxiety, addictions, grief/loss, sexuality, relationships and stress. I offer short-term solution-based and long-term insight-oriented therapies. My approach is eclectic psychodynamic and explores conscious and unconscious conflicts that can stifle happiness. I maintain a holistic understanding of my clients and utilize mind-body interventions such as movement/exercise, meditation and mindfulness to facilitate healing.
I have specialized training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and hold an Associate Faculty position at the New Orleans-Birmingham Psychoanalytic Center. I am a member of the Association of Applied Sports Psychology, a Mental Health Provider for the NBPA, and listed in the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee Mental Health Registry.
