Janeen Reid is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Janeen earned her Master's degree in 2003 in Clinical Psychology and became licensed in 2010. She has years of experience working with children, adolescents, families and adults. She treats patients starting at age 3 up to 65+. Her psychotherapy work includes play therapy, individual, couples and family therapy. Janeen draws from a variety of treatment approaches and believes in Christian Counseling to address and heal therapeutic concerns, individual problems and broken relationships with a spiritual, faith-based approach.
From a clinical standpoint, Janeen uses CBT, Solution Focused, Mindfulness, and Family Systems to meet the needs of her patients. Janeen has over 4 years experience working as a Social Worker with children, adolescents and families in the foster care system before she entered into private practice as a licensed Therapist.
She has volunteered for the past consecutive 19 years with Royal Family Kids's Camp to serve as a Social Worker with children ages 6-12 who are in protective custody or have been adopted and want to have fun for a week with church volunteers.
