When you reach the point where you're considering therapy, it's likely that your life is not going the way you would like and you don’t know how to fix it. You may feel overwhelmed and don’t have the energy to manage your complex, demanding responsibilities. Maybe your relationships are not very supportive, and you feel alone in facing what seem to be life’s constant battles. Perhaps you want to move beyond some traumatic experiences but you don't have much hope that things can get better. You want to feel stronger, better about yourself, and you’d like relate to those around you in a more meaningful, compassionate way.
In therapy we delve into the obstacles that keep you from your goals, the effects of your past and the stress responses that deplete your energy. You'll confront self-defeating behaviors and access your strengths. I'll give you tools to reduce stress and to feel present and energetic. I have 15 years of experience as a therapist and am also a yoga teacher.
I see each one of you as unique and brilliant, and I therefore use a holistic approach that is collaborative and always keeps your personal insights, experiences, and goals at the forefront.
