What would it be like to live courageously? I work with adults and teens as they figure out how to get unstuck. That stuck place may be an addiction, a divorce, a broken parent-child relationship, depression, ADHD, anxiety, or grief. I work as a counselor, a coach, and an accountability partner to help individuals dig deep to understand who they are and to take concrete steps to live more authentically. My clients say I have a unique joy that gives them hope and helps them find direction.
I hold an MS in counseling from Mercer and am trained in addiction recovery & general mental health. I use DBT, CBT and narrative approaches. Prior to becoming a counselor, I taught creative writing & have an MFA from UVA in that field. I am also a parent educator, helping parents empower their kids to become more independent. My office is in Buckhead.
