6/9/24: Telehealth only. 6 hr time difference ahead of EST, with availability this summer on weekday mornings and some sundays. I am a board-certified art therapist and licensed professional counselor with 17 years of clinical experience. I specialize in developmental trauma and work with all ages. I trust in the wisdom of clients' abilities to explore their own themes, symbols, and stories. Because we all develop our senses of self and safety within the context of early relationships, family/relationship-based work is essential. My approach is ecclectic, trauma-informed, client-centered, and non-judgmental.
Parent coaching and consultation also fit well with telehealth. In addition to TF-CBT, SFBT, CPP and ARC, I'm certified to deliver the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP: Porges). I can teach about how the Autonomic Nervous Systems (ANS) works. Developing self/body-awareness and self-compassion are pathways to connection, healing and new growth.
I honor diversity and I am LGBTQ+ allied. I help clients (and parents) to focus on what's working. I gently support self-exploration and self-care.
