I enjoy working with both adults and tiny humans in a safe and comforting space. My professional journey working within the child welfare system has led to a trauma-informed care approach, as well as adoption competency. My experiences within this field have shaped my outlook on counseling, instilling in me a deep understanding of the complex dynamics and profound impacts of trauma on individuals and families.
I approach counseling with an eclectic set of treatment modalities, tailoring my style to the specific needs of each client; these include EMDR, CBT, DBT, attachment theory, existential therapy, play therapy, and inner child work on past trauma all in a foundation of being client-centered and strengths based.
