Building up the courage to delve into the counseling space as a client is a massive accomplishment in itself. On top of that, actively creating a therapeutic relationship based on some of the most intimate and vulnerable parts of your life is another goal entirely.
My aim as a counselor is to engage with you over these vulnerabilities, whether they be focused on sex, intimacy, trauma, anxiety, romance, etc., and navigate together how to shift the vulnerable into the powerful. As a counseling student, I view assisting clients in their mental health journeys as an immense privilege.
I’m motivated to walk alongside my clients as we figure out their best course of action, all the while learning and growing throughout our time together. A client can expect an empathetic, kind, nonjudgmental, and solution-focused as the baseline of the professional relationship we stand to build.
