Hi again! Thanks for considering me to be your therapist. I like to share some things about myself that go beyond me as a therapist because I think commonalities help develop rapport with each-other. So, my name is Jana and I am from very rural southern Ohio. I am a mom who is no stranger to the struggles (and joys!) of parenthood - I like to keep it real in sessions.
I ask a lot of clarifying questions and really try to get to the root of an issue. If you are worried about not knowing what to say, no worries! I can totally fill any silence as I typically have a lot to say. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, ADDADHD, pregnancy complications, infant loss, borderline personality disorder,
narcissism, domestic violence, emotional abuse, complicated relationship with ex when children are involved and behavioral issues, binge eating and PTSD stemming from domestic violence
