I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with experience providing assessment and therapy services to children, adolescents, young adults, and adults with a wide range of difficulties including ADHD, anxiety, depression, anger management, mood swings, self-injury, grief, low self-esteem, academic under achievement, and parent and child conflict and communication problems, as well as issues related with stressful life transitions and trauma. In addition to a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a rich history of working with kids, teenagers, and young adults.
I draw predominantly from a Person-Centered and Existential background that focuses on creating a judgment free understanding of individuals and their unique life experiences, while weaving in mindfulness-based, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and internal family systems (IFS) techniques to foster growth and positive change.
In therapy, I use a flexible and respectful approach to meet individuals where they are at and help them reach their utmost potential. When working with families, I support parents in identifying how they can help meet their child's needs and family members are assisted to solve problems collaboratively.
