The clients I work with the best are adults who want to work on themselves and are open to personal growth and change. I encourage clients to clarify their life goals, and whether the choices they are making will get them to those goals. I specialize in working with clients who have issues in the areas of relationships, spirituality, work, gender roles, grief/loss, trauma, and sexual abuse. I use my expertise to support clients in finding their own answers to create their "personal best" life, while giving professional guidance and sharing personal wisdom to facilitate them in that success.
I focus with clients on their relationships with others and themselves, and help them see how their relationship patterns manifest in all of their personal relationships. The positive result is that if they improve their relationship "template," they "dance" more effective "dance steps" in all of their present and future relationships.
I combine knowledge of the psychological elements of effective psychotherapy and the spiritual factors which help clients to evaluate their ongoing life choices and goals in the "Big Pic." I have several decades of experience doing private practice and extensive "life experience" in many states and countries, including Hawai'i.
