I specialize in working with adult clients who are experiencing symptoms of trauma, substance abuse, low self-esteem, life transitions and relationship issues. My goal is to truly understand the whole person so we can discover the root cause of the behavior or emotion and build upon inherent strengths and resiliency. I believe that every challenge is an invitation to seek healing for a more fulfilling life.
I use a client-centered, trauma-focused approach to therapy, which means I incorporate different therapeutic modalities to meet the needs of my clients. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). I have over 10 years of experience working in substance abuse and co-occurring diagnosis treatment, detox and with many trauma survivors.
