My practice has included working with those who have been exposed to extreme traumas, unexpected grief, various personality disorders, and navigating symptoms of anxiety and depression. I take an affirming stance when working with individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community. Driven by social justice and a belief in individual strength and resiliency, I take a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach.
I believe there is not a singular approach that can be applied to every person. I often implement tools from CBT and elements of Somatic Experiencing, however, the therapeutic experience should be tailored to each individual, so I utilize an array of evidence-based tools and encourage feedback to support your journey toward healing.
