I work from a client centered perspective and am passionate about helping clients build resilience to cope with adversity, bounce back, and grow stronger. I am trained in EMDR, and use this as well as other evidence based modalities such as CBT and DBT to further clients wellness.
My practice is based on connection, relationships, and communication. The client/counselor partnership is based on respect, empathy, honesty, and support. I focus on strengths, and encourage mindfulness and a toolbox of coping strategies to help each individual build on their own strengths to find their unique plan.
I value each individual's uniqueness and base each client's treatment plan/goals on their specific needs. I work to create an environment that feels safe, compassionate, and non judgmental in order for each client to get the most out of each session. My work is for each individual to feel heard, see themselves more clearly, and gain confidence in all things.
