Hey there, I’m Jamie (she/her). If you struggle to feel seen, if you experience stress with your identity or in your relationships, or maybe if you're new to therapy or you've had not-great encounters with therapists in the past, I hope you'll book a session and give me a try. My approach is intuitive, collaborative, and conversational, and prioritizes a safe and inclusive experience for people from diverse and often marginalized backgrounds.
I'm a clinical social worker independently licensed in Virginia & West Virginia, a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work, a trained Acu-Detox Specialist, and have been a clinical therapist for 12 years. I have trained and experienced in the treatment of multiple conditions including PTSD, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, & chronic pain.
I am a sex-positive, body-accepting, anti-racist, LGBTQ+ ally in all aspects of my life, and this open-hearted stance deeply informs my work as a clinical therapist.
