My practice is limited to psychological and educational assessment. In addition to being a licensed psychologist, I am also a credentialed school psychologist. The two fields give me a unique perspective to help in the diagnosis of and recommendations for many issues including emotional disturbances, autistic spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, mental deficiencies, ADHD, and others.
I also provide consultations to school districts and individuals regarding behavioral, emotional, or academic concerns as well as the organization of Pupil Personnel Services programs. I am available for expert witnessing. Additionally, I provide presentations and workshops on collaborative consultation, autism, and using the self in helping others.
I am knowledgeable in several methods of detecting specific learning disabilities including the Cross-Battery Assessment approach (XBA). I am well versed with both the DSM and the Education Code with regard to diagnosis and can offer specific treatment recommendations. Additionally, I have worked as a psychotherapist in and outside of the public schools.
