Whether it be anxiety about relationships & work, difficulty living up to the expectations others may have for you, or repetitive thoughts that you can't get out of your head, I will be in your corner. I do not believe you are broken. The world is full of broken systems that weren't set up with you in mind. Bouts of anxiety or hopelessness might be a sign that you need help figuring out what you want out of your life rather than struggling with the goals others have for you.
The WHO famously sang, "Who are you? Who who who who?" That is the essential question that guides therapy! I work from a person centered perspective and strive to help people find their own answers to life's most difficult questions. I want to help you make large and small choices that align your life with your vision of who you want to be.
I am trained in various therapy modalities, but I don't think technical jargon or cookie cutter strategies are what make therapy work. It's about the therapist and client forming an alliance and working together. Anyone can criticize and find faults. You need someone who sees you and hears you and challenges you to bring out the best in yourself.
