Life isn’t easy. Sometimes, even the strongest people amongst us need a little bit of help to work through some of life’s more challenging problems. Everyone has battles to fight and hurdles to overcome at some point. I specialize in working with couples struggling with dysfunctional negative interaction patterns such as: criticism, defensiveness, contempt, or stonewalling. I will focus on emotional repair and help couples learn to build safety, love, intimacy, friendship, and positive affect. We will work on changing interaction patterns and creating a system of shared meaning together.
Using the Gottman Method, I am able to provide a detailed assessment for couples in order to create an individualized and unique therapy plan that focuses on the specific needs of each couple. I will deal with couple conflict and resolution, but also extend to building and repairing the couple's friendship and love.
Whether you struggle with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, or any other issue, you should know that there is hope for a better tomorrow.
