With year experience; as a Mental Health professional, I work with individuals, children, adolescents, couples and families on a variety of issues including: depression, anxiety, marital and family issues, sexual addictions, grief counseling, child development, parenting skills, and spiritual concerns. My approach to therapy incorporates a Christian worldview utilizing a cognitive and behavioral - solution - possibility focused theoretical orientation. My goal in therapy is to help you determine what patterns of thinking and behavior have develpoed in your life and what the influences in the development of those patterns have been.
We will also examine your perception and thoughts while exploring the reframing of possible destructive thinking. And finally acknowledge and consider the impact of your past on the present, and help you focus on positive possibilities and solutions while building on your strengths.
My desire is to help you discover possibilities for the future and then commit to necessary changes so that you might discover the emotional and spiritual wholeness that you want.
