With over 10 years of experience in a variety of settings ranging from inpatient to university counseling centers, I feel comfortable discussing a range of issues. My approach is collaborative, non-judgmental, and solutions-focused, and I strive to show respect to my clients by giving my full, undivided attention to your concern. I specialize in client-centered and strengths-based approaches, but adapt to meet the need of my clients. I do believe therapy is meant to be challenging, and will encourage clients to take positive risks outside of session to attempt to improve their situation.
I have ample experience working with LGBT populations, and have helped trans adults navigate transitioning, whether medical or social. I have also worked with domestic violence survivors, those in substance abuse recovery, those with complicated medical concerns, adults with ADHD and ASD, and those impacted by war.
