Psychotherapy is about taking time for yourself in the context of a supportive,respectful relationship.I believe that healing resides within your own resources and my job is to assist you in tapping into the wisdom that lies within you and to help you get out of your own way,so that you can live a more satisfying and fulfilling life and cultivate wellbeing.I view the process of psychotherapy as relational and collaborative and each therapy is different,depending on who you are,and what you bring for resolution.I bring warmth and humour to our work together.
I have a general psychotherapy practice and specialise in Couple and Relationship issues,Alcohol and Substance Abuse(Certified Addictions Specialist) and loss and grief.I see people with substance use issues and also family members who are concerned.I teach anxiety and stress management and I'm trained in Ericksonian Hypnotherapy.
I have over 30 years experience and am in the field because I love what I do and feel it's a privilege to witness people's journeys towards greater empowerment,creativity,wellness and contentment.
