I believe people can foster a greater sense of well-being and satisfaction in their life through a nonjudgmental, person-centered therapeutic approach that emphasizes mutual respect and collaboration. Ultimately, I draw on an integrative approach to inform and guide the overall therapeutic process, including but not limited to attachment theory, reality therapy, and various forms of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
I currently see adolescents (ages 8-18) experiencing problematic sexual behaviors, criminal sexual offenses, and other criminal behaviors. I hold a master’s degree in counseling from Portland State University. My major coursework at Portland State University included Human Development, Counseling Theories and Skills, and Human Sexuality.
