I began practicing as an in-home clinician working with people after discharge from long-term psychiatric hospitalization. It was during that period that I received intensive training to provide Dialectical Behavior Therapy. The intense dialectical process has been helpful for many of my clients to achieve stability and work towards resolving traumatic experiences. Part of regulating our behavior is teaching our body and brain to better regulate so I also specialize in Neurofeedback/biofeedback modalities to support behavioral interventions. Please see my practice website for details on Neurofeedback treatment: CTneurotherapycom
I approach everyone as an individual and tailor my approach to them. I am DBT trained and supervise a weekly skills group. I am also trained in sexuality, kink, and gender affirming care as well as bio/neurofeedback therapies.
I am direct, empathic, and genuine. I always do my best to provide kind direct feedback. If you are reading this, you are doing the best you can. Please contact me to schedule an appointment with me (All CT insurance) or one of my associates (Aetna, Cigna, Husky).
