As a licensed Clinical Psychologist, I use a combination of insight, humor, and a good dose of reality, as well as a variety of evidence-based practices to highlight client strengths and help promote better understanding and tolerance of stressful thoughts in teens and young adults. I strive to provide a space for clients to feel safe and able to discuss their thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment.
I work primarily with clients presenting with anxiety and depression. I have also recently grown my practice to include clients living with chronic pain. I am certified in Pain Reprocessing Therapy and also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention into my work.
With Bachelor's Degrees in Psychology and Deaf Studies from Boston University and my Ph.D. from Gallaudet University, I am fluent in American Sign Language and currently provide therapy services for individuals who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
