My specialty lies in helping individuals and families overcome the impact of traumas, transitions, and other major life events. I also specialize in the perinatal period, specifically pregnancy loss and postpartum. I believe in creating a safe, relaxed, and nonjudgmental space to support you in reaching your goals, and commit to doing my own personal work to create a practice that is culturally-responsive and anti-oppressive. In addition to direct therapy, I provide caregiver/parent coaching, providing you support and tools to strengthen the parent-child relationship. I also offer clinical supervision toward LCSW licensure hours.
EMDR, CBT, and mindfulness are just a few of the integrative approaches I use. I believe firmly in the resilience of individuals and families and know that our traumas do not define us. They impact us and can impact us greatly, but with work and support they become just a fabric of the story that defines the strength and resilience we inherently embody.
