When parts of our life, personality, relationships, or behaviors seem stuck, “out of control”, or in-congruent with who we feel we are, it is often a result of unexpressed feelings. We will take focused time together to understand the meaning that has been made out of the pain you've experienced.
During our time, we will work to pay attention to family dynamics, personal ways of meaning-making, and ways of relating to self and others. There will also be curiosity towards one's relationship to their body, as the body often becomes the site of blame when pain has not gotten the chance to be carefully addressed.
