My ideal client is one who is passionate about learning and seeking out treatment to make them the best possible versions of themselves. The client is able to develop a trusting relationship with me as their therapist and be vulnerable in doing the work in order to make a positive change. I work with clients of all ages from 9 years old and up, of all ethnic backgrounds, who experience a wide range of symptoms from anxiety, behavioral challenges, couples issues, bipolar disorder, depression, ADHD, and more.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I am also a certified school counselor and recently certified in sports psychology. I am a Level II Gottman couples therapist. I also have a speciality in working with those who have/are experiencing trauma, with a certification as a clinical trauma professional. I am also certified in DBT.
As a therapist, I provide a warm, inviting, and safe place to decompress from daily life. I like to develop a positive rapport with the client and to build a trusting relationship. You have value and I want to help you to seek out the positive qualities in yourself to make the changes you want.
