Thank you for stopping by! My name is Jaime (she/her/hers), and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I work with individuals aged 16 and older of all genders seeking support for a broad range of mental health and life issues. I am a strong advocate and ally, and work to help my clients on their path toward healing, acceptance, balance and growth. I have a Great Pyrenees dog in office with me, so please let me know if you would be more comfortable meeting in person or via Telehealth. I am in the process of earning my Doctorate of Social Work (DSW) through Tulane University.
I specialize in trauma, depression, anxiety, and substance use. My counseling focuses on validating self worth, creating boundaries and a healthy sense of responsibility, and improving communication. I use a variety of modalities, including EMDR, and use DBT, CBT and ACT as fundamental components of my dialog.
I take an approach deeply rooted in Humanistic Theory and radical acceptance. I see each of my patients as the expert of their own lives and take a collaborative approach. Women's Radical Self Love
Radical Self-Love is more than a catch phrase- it is a way of life! This workshop will help you in exploring not only what self-love is, but how our sense of self develops, and how we can change outdated and unhealthy narratives about ourselves. This workshop is open to all women regardless of birth sex, ages 18 and older. The sessions will be held Saturdays at 12pm PDT from September 14 - November 16, 2024.
