As an experienced mental health and telemental health counselor, working with adults, young and elderly, my goal is to help you to live a happy and healthy life. I have traveled, studied and lived in U.S., Mexico and Europe, speaking other languages. I am culturally aware and a sensitive individual full of empathy and respect for all people. I work only virtually and am experienced in counseling students online, providing telemental health for all ages in my private practice and others online as well as teaching as a University Instructor. Anxiety disorders, stress management, depression, trauma, anger management and emotional regulation, self esteem, self compassion, adjustment disorders, coping with change along with student, family and parenting concerns are my counseling specialties. As a yoga teacher, simple yoga and mindfulness can be incorporated as part of the healing process.
My therapeutic approach is CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness as well as Solution Focused Therapy. I will provide a place for you to feel safe and comfortable to share your thoughts and feelings.
