My ideal client would be open to Art Therapy and understand that Art Therapy is a non-verbal way to express themself successfully and be able to process their issues through art and counseling. Perhaps they are dealing with depression, anxiety or addiction. I would meet the person where they are at in their journey and actively and empathetically listen while guiding them to alternate paths to wellness. They want to create goals for themselves that they can achieve and learn coping skills that can help them to grow and move forward.
