Your family deserves support. Challenges that arise in childhood can impact one’s mood, how one copes with stress, and identity formation. Similar issues can arise for parents who may be experiencing this role for the first time, impacting one’s ability to bond with their children. Early intervention can support children as young as infancy to promote healthy functioning into adulthood as well as support parents who may be experiencing difficult feelings related to their own history.
As a Perinatal Mental Health Specialist, I work with infants, children, adolescents, and their families who may be experiencing difficulties with affect regulation, adjustment to life transitions, and various mood and anxiety disorders, as well as perinatal and postpartum issues for birthing parents, adoptive parents, and their partners.
Seeking help can feel daunting. I aim to make help accessible, including telehealth and in-home sessions. It is my goal to co-create feelings of trust and safety with clients as they explore how their own history impacts life at home, school, and relationships. I welcome anyone interested in therapy to a discussion to find their best fit for success.
