Hi! My name is Jackie Rivera and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I love working with individuals to help them overcome obstacles and life events that might have them feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and incapable with feelings of hopelessness, restlessness, grief, and more. I work well with folks who are struggling with symptoms of depression, anxiety, difficulty with regulating emotions, relationship issues, grief, problems in the workplace, imposter syndrome, adjustment disorders, and more.
I have worked with individuals who fall along the entire spectrum of these disorders ranging anywhere from mild to severe in severity and symptomology. I am also keen to work with women and BIPOC individuals and the issues these groups often face in our current day society.
I like to build a relationship with my clients and establish rapport so that it seems like therapy is as comfortable as sitting and catching up with an old friend, with the added advantage of being able to inject my expertise and clinical skills to help my clients move forward in their healing journey.
