I am a certified EMDR Therapist and Approved Consultant in EMDR Therapy. I help adults get through difficult life transitions and recover from traumatic experiences. Trauma can trigger overwhelming stress, anxiety, grief, fear, confusion, depression, anger, nightmares, and other sleep problems. Intrusive thoughts of traumatic experiences (including flashbacks) can greatly interfere with a person's ability to function in relationships, at home, and at work. I help people get over these lingering effects of trauma to resume or renew a sense of their own life's purpose and direction.
EMDR Therapy is an effective treatment for trauma, including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and the dissociative spectrum. EMDR is approved by the Department of Defense, Veterans Administration, and World Health Organization. EMDR Therapy can also be used to assist people in managing chronic pain, as well as for other forms of psychological suffering.
I am an out-of-network TriWest Provider. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist, an Approved Consultant in EMDR Therapy, and an EMDR Facilitator for EMDR Professional Training. Institute-approved, free, EMDR Study Group now meets virtually the last Friday of the month from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. PST except on holidays. The group is limited to licensed therapists and associates who have received a minimum of Level I EMDR training from an EMDRIA-approved program. Please email to confirm meeting schedule.
