I have been a licensed clinical social worker for over 29 years. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults. When working with clients, I seek to help them to identify strategies that can be used on a daily basis to improve their relationships across all environments (home, school, work). I believe that it helps to be able to talk to someone when feeling overwhelmed in order to manage your emotions as well as identify coping skills. It is also helpful to have someone to process with when facing challenges. Everyone needs support from time to time.
Coping skills are key to managing the daily stressors that we all face. Sometimes we have maladaptive coping skills or need to develop new coping skills to face challenges. I work with clients to help build a tool box of strategies and skills to be able decrease overwhelming stress and anxiety.
I know how busy we all are but also how important it is to take time for self-care. By providing tele-therapy, I able to meet with clients in the evening and even over the weekend and all from the comfort of your home.
