If you are highly critical of yourself, have difficulty trusting in yourself, are facing a life transition, feel stuck in long-standing patterns of thinking or being, or you are experiencing relational issues, therapy may be a meaningful process for you to engage in. Anxiety, depression, and issues around self-esteem are painful experiences that many of us face. Often times, we get used to feeling these ways, or don't know what to do about them, or we believe what our self-critic tells us about ourselves, resulting in feelings of shame and a pressure to be different.
My job is to enter your world, understand what your experiences have been like, what they have felt like, and how they have shaped who you are and how you feel about yourself. Through this understanding, I work with you to cultivate self-compassion and change. I deeply honor the therapeutic relationship and offer a warm and accepting space for my clients.
I will provide you support in identifying the false beliefs you may have about yourself and what you are capable of. By building trust in your authentic-self, we will work to change old, unhelpful patterns of thinking and relating, and find new ways to manage life. Finding the right therapist for you truly matters. I hope to be the right fit for you.
