I have been in private practice for 18 years working with adults, couples and adolescents. I help guide people who may be ambivalent about what it is they want in their relationships or careers, or are unsure how to get what they do want. There are often hidden things we haven't given voice to, usually out of concern of being judged, hurting others, or feeling ashamed. Concealing or judging parts of our true selves in this way often interferes with love, work, friendships and a sense of purpose, often causing difficulties such as depression and anxiety.
Through careful listening, asking questions and creating a safe environment for more freedom to express the fullness of who you are in a more uncensored way, I assist to give form to these thoughts and feelings, thus allowing for more possibilities to emerge and open up.
I also have over 25 years experience with adolescents. I have extensive training at postgraduate institutes including for trauma work. This is an ongoing interpersonal weekly group where members are helped to explore their own thoughts and feelings towards others.
