Finding the right therapist is a way to practice self advocacy! I value you considering me to meet your needs! Clients often come to me to work on difficult events, such as workplace or school stress, traumatic experiences, cultural traumas, coming out, transitioning, struggling with substance misuse, or even the things that the world labels as positive, such as a new job, marriage, or graduations. I value authenticity, autonomy, and vulnerability. As a consent-based humanistic therapist, I greatly value your growth and needs. I'm here to validate your experiences and help you to move toward a healthier life with more contentment!
I specialize in using consent-based, trauma-responsive approaches to address trauma(s), anxiety, depression, LGBTQIA2S+ needs, and workplace discrimination. My primary therapeutic approaches are: IFS/parts work, EMDR, mindfulness, somatic therapy, intersectional feminism, ACT, narrative therapies. I'm also certified in substance (mis)use & recovery.
As an out queer trauma therapist, I value working with LGBTQIA+ teens and adults to support you in moments of stress, overwhelm, loss, or trauma. In my free time, my wife and I enjoy leading trainings on cultural humility and playing with our four rescue dogs! Call/text 912.231.5221 or email to take the first step towards a calmer, healthier life today!
