I work best with people who are highly motivated for personal growth and self discovery even if it is painful at times. I have a non-judgmental and empathic engagement style - placing emphasis on the therapeutic relationship itself. Most of my clients are looking to gain deeper insight into themselves, recognizing and changing internal thought and behavioral patterns, discovering the true depths of their feelings, and create new tools or skills to cope with speed and stress of modern day life. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, transitions, shame, relational dynamics, Autism, and identity. Email is best way to reach me.
I primarily utilize CBT, attachment based, and EMDR therapy, but often use an eclectic approach in order to meet the needs of each individual. I am direct, a realist, and want to help clients confront their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors for optimal change. I don't own rose tinted glasses for they only distort one's view of the world and their Self.
We have the ability to have thoughts about our thoughts, feelings about our feelings, thoughts about our feelings, and feelings about our thoughts. This creates complex structures and patterns in ourselves which we have the power to intentionally and perpetually destroy and create in order to design our own becomings and the architecture of our lives.
