My belief is that therapy has two functions, to develop awareness and to validate the goals you are attempting to achieve. Awareness leads to a pathway towards a fuller understanding and discovery of how you can manage new challenges more productively. The therapy session is a safe and private place for you to take those initial steps towards success.
You become most powerful when you are fully in alignment with your authentic self and that is not accomplished when you are trying to meet the goals others have for you.
