Hi and welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of clinical experience. I love working with people of all ages and am especially passionate about supporting teenagers and young adults. I am a UCLA Peers Certified Provider and specialize in helping teens/young adults with ASD and social anxiety become more knowledgeable and confident in their social interactions. Social skills are not always intuitive for people but everyone can learn the skills they need to be able to connect and engage with others.
I consider my style eclectic and love to use the Peers Model, DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Family Systems, and Attachment Theory in my work. Every session is different because I tailor my work to my client's individual needs.
Together we will work on managing anxiety and depression, increasing self-esteem, improving social and family relationships, fine-tuning communication skills, learning tools for wellness and coping, gaining insight into your thinking and feelings, and building the skills necessary to heal and live a fulfilling and authentic life.
