Welcome! Therapy can be intimidating and challenging so I make it my top priority to provide a safe and trusting environment where you can just be yourself. I focus on providing a caring, safe, and nonjudgmental environment to support you as you begin to address and cope with the challenges in your life. I understand that seeking out the right therapist can be a difficult process. Whether you are seeking out treatment for yourself, a family member, friend, or significant other, I understand the importance of trying to find someone who will be a good fit!
I utilize a variety of evidence-based techniques to help clients achieve their goals which include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Gottman Method and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).
The process looks different with each of my clients and may include unpacking life’s heavy stuff, making peace with the past, seeing what’s important to you, figuring out who you are/who you want to be, and, or facing fears head-on. It is my privilege to provide clients with knowledge, tools, new perspectives, humor, and a completely non-judgmental space.
