I strive to deliver compassionate counseling with sincere dedication to service, and to do so as efficiently as possible in order to help alleviate stress and anxiety, and encourage emotional independence. My practice is rooted in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). REBT, the pioneering form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), is a goal-oriented therapeutic approach that helps people to challenge and replace self-defeating beliefs with healthier alternatives. REBT is generally shorter-term, solution-focused, and present-centered which makes it an amazing choice for those who not only wish to FEEL better, but to GET better.
During our work together, I will teach you how to live rationally and mindfully in the present, help you learn how to self-sooth and relax, show you how to slow down your thoughts in order to see the world more clearly, and ultimately encourage you to become your own best counselor leading to a more satisfying, fulfilling, and emotionally independent life.
The decision to begin counseling is truly a courageous, empowering, and exciting one! Counseling is a journey that we will embark on together, and by the end of our expedition, you will learn that you (and only you) possess the power to create the world that you desire for yourself: it is all within your thoughts!
