I've always loved helping people, and becoming a therapist became a passion. It allows me to learn about the struggles people face and find ways to help them live more fulfilling and joyful lives. OCD itself can be as complex as the person themselves. What truly inspired me to specialize in OCD was realizing how misunderstood people struggling with OCD often are. At NOCD, my team and I specialize in providing evidence-based treatment for people with OCD. Our deep understanding of the nuances and intricacies of OCD enables us to properly diagnose and treat it.
We have received intensive training in Exposure Response and Prevention Therapy (ERP)—the gold standard treatment for OCD. When you start with NOCD Therapy, you’ll either work with me or be paired with one of my colleagues based on your preferences. We’ll work to get to know you and create a personalized treatment plan to help you achieve your goals.
Plus, we offer support between sessions through direct messaging and a community of peers with OCD, ensuring you never feel alone. Your symptoms didn't develop overnight, and treatment won't work overnight either. However, the more continued effort we put into your individualized treatment, the bigger the progress we can achieve.
