Even the healthiest of individuals, couples, and families come across challenges that invite confusion, and overwhelm and even despair. Getting support during difficult times can be helpful in allowing you to move more confidently in your preferred direction. I understand that it takes courage to seek counseling and psychotherapy, especially when it comes to your personal life situations. I've worked 35 years in mental/behavioral health fields! Past focuses have been children/families. However, present work has undergone changes that now focuses on adult work where past childhood trauma has effected present living. "Work" includes individual work, but expands to couple work, parenting work, co-parenting work.
Presently, I feel that I offer unique services by providing EMDR therapy and Narrative therapy for both children and adult populations. Clients can engage in the standard EMDR procedures. Moreover, techniques through art work or through story writing or story telling are included.
