I also hope to encourage folks to feel curious about what they are currently holding onto that no longer serves them. I always hope to act as a fellow traveler with folks on their journeys to find and create meaning. I also believe in the importance of empowerment and a positive therapeutic relationship.
I have many years experience working with the LGBTQIA2+ community as well as with individuals who have journeyed through harmful experiences/relationships. Additionally, as a researcher specializing in meditation and marginalized communities, I believe in the effectiveness of holistic therapeutic practices that aim to support empowerment and wellness.
I enjoy incorporating therapeutic techniques informed by Parts Work, Feminist Theory, Mindfulness-to-Meaning theory, and Minority Stress impacts. I believe in the importance of creating a curious and open-hearted container to explore wounds and questions in order to move towards greater alignment of mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual Self.
